Remembrance Day (11th November)

Staff and children made a Poppy Wreath to remember all the people who give their lives to look after us and keep us safe. It was lovely to see so many of our children and families joining the community service.

Nursery Rhyme Week (12th November)

The staff and children have been very busy this week promoting communication development through nursery rhymes.

children in need (16th November 2018)

Staff and children came to nursery in their pjs to raise money for Children in Need. Children coloured pudsey pictures in and some of our parents joined the staff in a sweepstake duck race. We raised £30. Well done!

We are Reading

As part of our ‘We are Reading’ pledge with Lancashire County Council preschool children have been enjoying reading their favourite story in unusual places. Sarah and Emma have used the children’s photos to enhance and personalise the preschool book corner.

We are ‘Good’!

On Thursday 4th October 2018, we received our first inspection following our re-registration in May this year. We are proud to announce that we were graded ‘good’ with praise for our knowledge of our children and the support we provide to ensure each child progresses well before starting school. The team we praised for their welcoming and friendly nature. During the inspection day many parents took their time to share their opinions with the inspector and we would like to thank you for all your feedback and support.

All parents have been entailed a copy of the inspection report, and it can be found on the ofsted website.
